Breauna Hodnett was chosen to receive the “Live Your Dream” Award, which recognizes women who: 1) are working to better their lives through additional schooling and skills training, 2) have the primary financial responsibility for themselves and/or dependents, and 3) are attending (or have been accepted into) an under-graduate degree or vocational skills training program. Recipients are eligible for further awards at regional and federation levels.
Breauna has enrolled with Kaplan University and is in her 3rd semester of earning her Bachelors degree in psychology with a 4.0 GPA! She has also facilitated several events to raise awareness about human trafficking. Her goal is to become a school psychologist working with middle or high school students. Congrats, Breauna! (Breauna’s husband Herman Hodnett attended our Awards luncheon in support of his lovely wife.)
